Kitakami River Basin Exchange E-Boat Tournament

The nationwide E-boat competition is held every year in early September on the Kitakami River near the Kitakami Ohashi Bridge. Approximately 60 teams and 800 people from all over the country will gather for the purpose of exchange and collaboration in the Kitakami River basin. This competition, in which teams of 10 people compete for the best time using boats that can be ridden by anyone from children to adults, is influenced by the flow of the river, and every year it produces many dramas such as unusual runs, fast runs, lost runs, and fierce races.
