``Kamaishi Yoisa'' is a relatively new festival born from local youth, and is characterized by its energetic chants of ``Saassa, yoiyassa'' and the energetic jumping and bouncing.
The light dance and musical accompaniment are easy for anyone to remember, and it is also appealing that even tourists can jump in and participate.
