This festival is held on the day Kotaro Takamura was evacuated to Hanamaki, and includes offerings of flowers, tea, and poetry readings in front of the poem ``Snow White Pile'' monument at Takamura Sanso. Additionally, this festival has been held every year since 1968, two years after Kotaro's death.
