The YOSAKOI Soran Festival began in 1992, which is a combination of the local folk songs ``Soran Bushi'' and ``Yosakoi,'' centering on ``Soran Bushi,'' and now events bearing the name ``YOSAKOI'' are held all over the country. ``YOSAKOI Sansa'' has been held since 1998 by converting the previous samba parade ``Sunset Carnival'' into an event with the aim of revitalizing the region. ``YOSAKOI Sansa'' is an event born from the powerful fusion of Morioka City's traditional performing arts ``Sansa Dance'' and ``Yosakoi'', and is held in the center of Morioka City, such as the main street shopping street.
