In 2026, Chuson-ji celebrates the 900th anniversary of its completion and the 15th anniversary of its registration as a Hiraizumi World Heritage site.
From July 17 (Fri.) to November 15 (Sun.), the secret statue of the Buddha "Ichijikinrinbutsuson" will be unveiled.
