Let’s go meet the animals! Morioka City Zoological Park

Morioka City Zoological Park is located on a vast site that takes advantage of the natural topography, and is a popular spot where you can enjoy not only breeding and exhibiting animals, but also interacting with animals, observing insects and plants, and walking around the park. This year, which marks the 31st anniversary since the park opened in 1989, the park is scheduled to be closed from December for renovation work. The opening is expected to be in the spring of 2020. There are only a few months left until you can tour the current exhibition. Please come and meet the animals.

(Left) When you throw food so that it will reach the monkeys, they will come from all over. (Right) You’ll never get tired of seeing baby monkeys and their smiling faces relaxing.
