On October 18, 1603, while Morioka Castle was being built, Lord Toshinao Nanbu stayed in the ancestral comfort room of our hotel and gave his approval to be the guardian of the hot spring. Hotel Taikan has changed its name to "Yumori Hotel Taikan" and will continue to protect this famous hot spring.
The large hot spring bath with a great view is the largest in the area. The open-air bath, the ancient cypress bath, and the various baths are filled with 100% free-flowing water from the in-house source ``Taikan-no-Yu,'' which opened in March 2008, without any addition or heating. Enjoy the soft hot water, which is reputed to have beautifying effects on your skin.
