Genbu Onsen

A hot spring located 10km north of Shizukuishi Town, along the road to Amihari Onsen. The Kakoneda River flows nearby, making it a quiet environment perfect for relaxation. It is also a convenient base for mountain stream fishing and autumn foliage viewing. Chloride hot spring containing sodium bicarbonate. Effective for rheumatism and neuralgia. There are three accommodation facilities.

Soba making experience

We are holding a soba making experience at the Furusato Sozokan. Even those without experience can easily make it. Why not try it once? Please note that reservations are required.

Roadside station “Kuzumaki Kogen”

Located on National Route 281 after heading north from Morioka City on National Route 4, this roadside station is a place where you can relax and relax, with direct farm produce, a restaurant, and a park. The farm-direct house ``Hosunaaru'' has a unique name that has three meanings in the local language: ``I have what I want,'' ``I have dried vegetables,'' and ``I'm a star.'' We mainly carry vegetables and mountain products, but also dairy products, craft products, and famous sweets from Kuzumaki Kogen Farm.

Fudaihama Park Kiraumi

600m north to south. The perfect location with its arch-shaped white sandy beach and sparkling sea. It is one of the few sandy beaches in the Kita-Sanriku area, which has a series of rocky reefs. The entire area has been developed as ``Fudaohamaenchi Kiraumi'' and includes a green park, an outdoor BBQ oven, a rest area with hot showers and changing rooms, and a seafood direct sales facility called ``Hama-no-Farm Direct Kiraumi.'' On holidays, you can see children frolicking on the beach, children kicking balls in the green space, and families and groups having fun as they please.

Kamaishi Ramen

Kamaishi Ramen is known for its clear amber soup and ultra-thin curly noodles. It is said that ultra-thin noodles, which are boiled quickly, have become popular in order to avoid keeping hungry people, such as steel mill workers and fishermen, waiting. Chinese restaurants, cafeterias, soba and udon shops, etc. are all marked by the "Kamaishi Ramen" banner. Each restaurant has its own unique characteristics, but the common thing is a light, nostalgic taste. I want you to come and taste it.

Nakanohama Campground [Closed]

This campground is adjacent to Onnayuto Beach, and has permanent tents and free tent sites. It is well-equipped with a store, hot showers, flush toilets, and a coin laundry, making it popular among families. Tent, blankets, tableware, cooking utensils, etc. are available for rental. Ingredient sets can also be purchased by making a reservation. You can also take sea kayaking lessons, so give it a try (for a fee).
