These are old-fashioned handmade sweets made using local bean flour from Hiraizumi. There are 6 types in total, including burdock root, mijinbo root, and soybean sugar. All of these sweets are nostalgic.

Mizusawa Ishida Onsen

A hot spring that flows along National Route 397 in a rural area near Mizusawa city. Day trip bathing and overnight stays are possible. The hot water has a high salt concentration and is said to have a high thermal effect and relieve neuralgia and rheumatism.

Roadside Station “Oono” Food Hall

"Roadside Station Ono" is located along National Route 395 in Ono, Hirono Town. At the "Food Hall" located in one corner, the local cuisine "Hittsumi", which has been eaten frequently in the area since ancient times, and "Akadori Ramen" using red chicken (Michinoku Akadori) are popular.

Kurosaki Senkei

A typical view of the Rias coast unfolds. Part of the cliff has caved in, creating a narrow channel between the steep cliffs, which is being eroded by the waves of the Pacific Ocean. Waves change the topography over many years. You can catch a glimpse of nature's creation. The nearby garden is a hidden spot for camellias.

The fragrant ``june mochi'' is grilled one by one over charcoal. ``June'' refers to perilla, which is made by rubbing the self-grown perilla, adding sugar and sake, and applying it generously to the mochi. This is a popular item and is only sold on Saturdays and Sundays. Other freshly harvested vegetables are also sold at reasonable prices.
