Handmade cheese Hayachine Daigo

The current president of the association was inspired to start manufacturing the cheese after traveling alone around the country and seeing a cheese feast at a certain church. In 1972, we began producing cheese on our own, and in 1990, we began full-scale production with the establishment of the Osako Cheese Processing and Production Association. This authentic handmade cheese is made using raw Brown Swiss milk, and was even featured as an ingredient on a cooking program on a commercial TV station. It is mainly sold in the town and neighboring municipalities. It is also possible to order online.

Maizuru no Yu [Maezawa Onsen] (day trip bathing facility)

This is a day trip hot spring with sodium chloride spring. What we are most proud of is the spacious bathtub with a view. The seasonal nature spreads out below you, and the natural ingredients in the hot water will make your skin smooth and warm your body from the core. Admission fee (including bathing fee, large room usage fee, rental towel fee, and sauna usage fee) is 600 yen for adults for up to 3 hours. Please use it as a place to improve your health and socialize.

Café & Dining Bar Kurian

Kurian is a small mountain Italian restaurant nestled in the great nature of Tono. We offer safe and reliable dishes using home-grown vegetables and herbs. This restaurant requires reservations, and can accommodate groups ranging from one person to 12 people.

A quaint restaurant that uses a sake brewery from the Taisho era. We recommend the ``Kaho Mochi Zen'' where you can enjoy 8 types of mochi and ozoni, and the ``Hatt Mochi Zen'' where you can enjoy both hatto and mochi.
