This healthy drink is made by blending the extract of black flat beans (gankui beans), a specialty of the Kawai region of Miyako City, with pure honey harvested at the foot of Mt. Hayachine. Roadside Station Taro is located along National Route 45, about 5 minutes from Taro Masaki Kaigan IC on the Sanriku Coastal Road. A restored model of Taro's townscape is on display at Shiosato Station.
