Nanbu Senbei, known as Iwate Prefecture's famous confectionery, is made in various parts of the prefecture and continues to maintain its traditional taste.

Nanbu Senbei Iwataya

A traditional rice cracker made from wheat, sesame, and peanuts. Also popular are rice crackers with unusual toppings such as squid, apples, and onions, cookie-type rice crackers, and ``Senbei soup sets'' that can be easily made at home.

Fureai Ninohe
