This outdoor complex is located in a vast 15-hectare forest that straddles Kitakami City and Oshu City.
In addition to camping, a restaurant where you can taste dishes made from local ingredients and an accommodation building where you can enjoy a sauna have been completed, allowing you to enjoy nature in a casual manner.

In November 2023, it was recognized as a certified course for " Quaalto Health Walking," which originated in Germany.

Hometown experience center “Kitakami”

This training facility is operated by Kitakami City and is located in a quiet natural setting at the foot of the Ou Mountains. It has a training room, gymnasium, accommodation, and dining room, and can be used for training and training camps.

Kitakami City Rest Forest

A woodworking experience center and athletic play equipment are located within the facility, and nearby are Tenshochi Park, a museum, and Michinoku Folk Village. There are 10 tent sites, 4 cottages for 10 to 15 people, and 3 cottages for 5 or 6 people.
