    One theory is that in this region, it is an important preserved food that is pickled in homemade miso, and the older it gets, the more flavor it gets, so it was named ``Konkonzuke'' after the Golden Wedding. Carrots and kelp rolls are tightly packed inside the gourd hole, and when you slice them into rounds, the carrots' colors come out brightly.
