    Nakano Shirataki

    Nakano Shirataki is a large waterfall with two tiers, the upper waterfall is 27 meters high and 8 meters wide, and the lower waterfall is 6 meters high and 12 meters wide. There is also a promenade leading from the waterfall to the sea, where you can enjoy hiking.

    Okaya Inari Shrine

    An old shrine with a long history, located in a forest of old trees. The shrine is dedicated to Ukanokotami-no-mikoto, and as one of the leading shrines in Sanriku, it is visited by many worshippers from far and wide. The shrine is especially crowded with worshippers during the annual festival in May. JR Hachinohe Line to Shukudo Station Take JR Tohoku Shinkansen from Morioka Station and transfer at Hachinohe Station on the JR Tohoku Honsen Line.
