Komagata Shrine

In 1903, the shrine on the top of Mt. Komagatake was moved to its present location. It is a quiet shrine surrounded by old cherry and cedar trees. Together with the cherry trees in Mizusawa Park, it is designated as a natural monument of the prefecture as a group of higan cherry trees.
A children's cavalry parade is held as an annual spring festival.
