Hometown Nature Park Center/Mori no Gakusha

Using natural photographs, panels, and high-definition videos of Mt. Orizume, we introduce in detail the surrounding nature, plants, animals, and birds, as well as sightseeing spots. You can also learn about the forest while looking at real things such as types of trees.

Hydrangeas at Tendaiji Temple

Tendaiji is an ancient temple with a history of 1200 years. When Jakucho went to work as chief priest at Tendaiji Temple, he called on people to start planting hydrangeas in order to revive the temple grounds, which had fallen into disrepair after the war with cedar trees being cut down. Now, in early summer, deep purple hydrangeas bloom on the stone steps leading up to the shrine and within the precincts, adding a noble color to the ancient temple. Ninohe City Civic Center

It is a place to disseminate information about everything about the Ninohe area, and a facility where you can learn about and interact with great people and predecessors. The three-story building contains a regional information center, Tanakadate Aikichi Memorial Museum, Shigeo Fukuda Design Museum, a civic hall, and a culture room, making it a core facility for disseminating information to the city and beyond.
