For about a month starting in late June, the paths of Sugiyama will be decorated with colorful "hydrangea" flowers.
About 40,000 hydrangeas of about 400 varieties are planted on the vast cedar mountain, which is more than three times the size of the Tokyo Dome, and they bloom one after another. There is also a rest area where visitors can relax and enjoy nature.
Open from late June to late July every year.
