Tateishi Hyakusho Dance

    It was started in the early Showa era as an annual ritual at Tateishi Inari Shrine to pray for and offer a rich harvest. The content of the dance is based on the theme of rice cultivation by farmers, and is a choreography of traditional agricultural work.The dance is set to the rhythm of drums, flutes, and bells, which are rich in earthy colors. Town-designated intangible folk cultural property.
