You can see it at the Yahata Shrine annual festival and Kochi Kumano Shrine annual festival. This deer dance, which prays for peace in the world, the fulfillment of five crops, and happiness for all people, was transmitted from Towa Town (formerly Ochiai Village). It is considered to be the northern limit of Taiko-style deer dance. There are a wide variety of events, including the first garden, scarecrow dance, robami dance, and gun dance.

Located on the rotary in front of Hanamaki Station, the 21 stainless steel poles with windmills were installed with the aim of making Hanamaki City shine in the 21st century.The original design was selected from among applicants from all over the country. BGM will be played at 15 minutes on the hour at 8:15, 10:15, and after 12:00. It was originally composed by synthesizer artist Himegami.

Nanbu Toji Tradition Museum

Reopened on July 15, 2020. This is a facility that preserves and passes on the traditional culture of sake brewing by Nanbu chief brewers. Inside, there are exhibits such as a sake brewing vat with a diameter of about 2 meters, various sake brewing tools, and miniatures of sake brewing-related events, making it a facility where you can enjoy understanding sake brewing. There is also a sake tasting corner (for a fee).
