There is a ``Yanaba'' on the Sarugaishi River in the Kashiwagi-daira area. The Sarugaishi River is famous throughout the country as a treasure trove of freshwater fish. The area is especially famous for its fallen sweetfish, and from July to October, you can enjoy Japanese food and river fish such as sweetfish while watching Hayana fishing (a device used to catch fish by damming the flow of the river).
