Ichinoseki's specialty "Hitokuchi Mochizen" is a registered trademark of Fujisei. In 1991, we devised the ``Hitokuchi Mochi Zen'' to make it easier to enjoy mochi dishes. We pound the highest quality glutinous rice, ``Koganemochi,'' at our restaurant, and create handmade mochi dishes made with local ingredients. Of course, no additives are used. As a specialty of Ichinoseki, it is enjoyed not only by locals but also by customers from far away. 25 Bodhisattva Hall

This statue of Amida Nyorai and the 25 Bodhisattvas that follow him are designated as Iwate Prefecture's tangible cultural properties. It is said that Seisei-in Temple in Kyoto is the only place where 25 Bodhisattva statues are carved, and the Bodhisattva statues, which have beautiful chisel marks, are said to be national treasures if they had heads.

Geibikei Gorge

One of Japan's top 100 views. It is an approximately 2 km long gorge created by the Satetsu River eroding limestone, with approximately 100 m cliffs rising on both banks. The current is calm, and you can hear the boatman's song ``Geibi Oiwake'' as you go down the boat.
