Murone Shrine

Murone Shrine is located at the 8th station of Mt. Murone, and is dedicated to two shrines: ``Hongu'' and ``Shingu.'' Choshoji Temple

The drum in the main hall of Chosho-ji Temple was created during the Ichinoseki domain era by Takeaki Tamura, who asked Rojuku Abe Bungonokami to grant him permission to play the ``Taiko of Time'', which was previously restricted to the Imperial Palace, the Shogunate, and the three major families.
