Ashi Higashiyama Memorial Museum
A museum about Ashitozan, who wrote the ``Mukokuroku,'' which is said to be the origin of modern Japanese criminal law. You can trace Higashiyama's life and achievements according to themes in chronological order, such as the ``Age of Learning,'' ``The Sendai/Edo Government Service Period,'' ``The Era of Living in Residence,'' ``The Austere Period,'' and ``People Who Admired Higashiyama.'' In addition to exhibiting the original (replica) of his book ``Wugunroku'' and the Senate version, there are many other materials on display, including the collection of posthumous manuscripts ``Guyi Qi's Posthumous Manuscripts,'' ``Shanghai'', official documents, and diaries.
