When waves crash onto the coast north of Jodogahama, between the Hidejima area and Kokuminkyukamura, seawater sprays out in the form of mist from a 65cm wide gap in the rocks. This is a squirting hole. It was designated as a national natural monument in September 1939. This hole opens up and down (to the bottom of the ocean), and the pressure of the surging seawater causes the seawater to blow up in the form of mist from the hole at the top. When the sea is rough, the height of the tide can reach up to 30 meters. .
