Roadside station “Shizukuishi Anekko” [Hashiba Onsen]

A roadside station that opened in July 2001. The restaurant ``Anekko Chaya'' offers menus made with seasonal ingredients from Shizukuishi. Among them, the ``local chicken oyakodon'' and the ``hitomebore soft-serve ice cream'' made with rice grown in Shizukuishi are popular. In addition, there is a ``Sansai Zukuishi,'' which sells freshly harvested vegetables, wild plants, mushrooms, and other vegetables grown by local farmers, and a ``Bussan,'' which sells special products collected from towns along National Routes 46 and 106. There is also "Shizukuishi". At Hashiba Onsen (simple alkaline spring), which has a sauna and open-air bath, you can enjoy a day trip bath, as well as a rest room, training room, herb garden, and auto camping area.

Mt. Eboshi

A 3 hour uphill and 2 hour downhill course with repeated ups and downs from Takinoue Onsen. The name of the mountain comes from its protruding shape like an eboshi. It is located on a ridge that runs from Komagatake to Hachimantai, with a vertical rock wall facing east, offering views in all directions. There are also plenty of alpine plants.

Iwate Prefectural Goshoko Regional Park

It is located on the shore of a lake, and includes a ride plaza, family land, and a town park, making it a popular place for families to have fun and have fun. At the Oirino Botanical Garden, you can enjoy seasonal flowers such as skunk cabbage, water lily, and water lily, and you can also see fireflies from early July.
