This is Yokoana limestone cave, which is designated as a historic site by the prefecture. Inside the cave, there is a hall of about 50 square meters, and there are remains of Jomon period dwellings, including beautiful stalactites, earthenware, and stone tools.

Koenji Temple

Koenji Temple. Kouenji. Rare plants such as Koya Maki, weeping red pine, and metasequoia live within the precincts. At the lotus pond, from late July to late August, in addition to the Oga lotus, about 1,000 lotuses of four different types, including white lotus and yellow lotus (Komaihi and Izumi Yellowtsuru) bloom.

Located along National Route 396, the restaurant ``Budo no Ki'' offers a menu that makes use of local ingredients, and its fruit ice cream made with locally produced grapes, pears, and apples is especially popular. We also have seasonal ice creams with fukinoto, cherry blossom, strawberry, and mugwort.
