Chausudake

The summit, which is 1,578m above sea level and offers a 360-degree view, is one of the best views in Hachimantai. Mountain ranges such as Mt. Iwate, Mt. Hayachine, Mt. Akita Komagatake, Mt. Chokai, Mt. Gassan, and Mt. Hakkoda spread out to the right and left. In particular, the shape of Mt. Iwate is impressive, with its gentle curve in the east and the steeply rising peaks in the west.

Yamamoto Bee Farm

We raise bees in Hachimantai City, which is rich in nature, and produce and sell honey, royal jelly, and other products. Each honey is made by hand and shipped directly from the bee farm, so you can enjoy the freshest honey.

Sakuramatsu Park

The old shrine building of Sakuramatsu Shrine is located under the quay adjacent to Fudo Falls. Legend has it that long ago, villagers were surprised to see cherry blossoms blooming on pine trees and worshiped them as a good omen. Within the precincts, there is a ``Marriage Tree'' where two trees are tied together, and a watermill that was relocated from the village, and you can take a leisurely stroll along the promenade along the mountain stream in about 30 minutes. In addition, the rest house "Takinochaya" near the parking lot has a snack corner and a corner selling local specialties.
