Real name: Tomi Hakamada. Born in Matsuo Village, Iwate District (currently Hachimantai City), he spent his childhood in Iwate Town. She grew up dreaming of performing in Takarazuka Girls' Opera, and finally realized that dream. Although he gained national fame through the movie ``The Life of Muhomatsu,'' he lost his life when he encountered the atomic bomb that was dropped on Hiroshima. The Keiko Sonoi statue is located on the premises of the Iwate Town Working Women's House. This facility also has a reference room for Keiko Sonoda.
