Hyoto Exchange Facility

Located on the banks of the Yasuegawa River, where rare creatures such as the Japanese kingfisher and the Japanese white-spotted duck live, there are mainly mountain huts hand-built by local people, as well as bungalows, a kitchen, and an administrative building. The mountain hut, which looks like it was handmade, has a hearth and terrace, and can accommodate a large group of 20 or more.

Hayasaka plateau

Hayasaka Plateau has been designated as a prefectural natural park, and visitors are fascinated by the azaleas, birches, linden trees, and katakuri trees. It is a large, calm plain that spreads out around Hayasaka Pass, which is 916 meters above sea level, and is also known as a treasure trove of wild vegetables and mushrooms. Seven waterfalls of Okawa

The Seven Falls of Okawa is one of the most scenic spots in the Omoto River basin. Seven waterfalls of various sizes are connected in a stair-like manner along the river, which is less than 100 meters long. In the past, it was a remote place where no one could come, but now the surrounding area has been improved and the Nanataki Summer Festival, held every August, is crowded with people from both inside and outside the town.
