Kunimi Onsen

    A famous hot spring in Michinoku located at Kunimi Pass at the southern foot of Mt. Komagatake on the border with Akita Prefecture. Located in the midst of the natural beauty of Hachimantai National Park, many people visit the hot springs every year for their therapeutic benefits and relaxation. In addition, it continues to be loved by people as a base for mountain climbing to Mt. Komagatake and Sennumagahara, with its rustic atmosphere that evokes nostalgia. There are Ishizuka Ryokan, Moriyamaso, and Kunimisanso (day trip), and the hot spring quality is hydrogen carbonate spring (hydrogen sulfide type), neutral and high temperature, and is effective for chronic gastrointestinal diseases, neuralgia, rheumatism, skin diseases, etc.
