An outdoor and sports plaza located along the Waga River in Kitakami City. There are tennis courts, a natural grass field, and a cycling path, making it a place for residents to relax.
There is also a barbecue area on the large grounds, which can also be used as a day camp.
The tennis court was also used as the main venue for the 1999 Inter-High School.

Kyozukayama

Mt. Kyozuka (altitude 1372.6m) is one of the three Natsuyu mountains, along with Mt. Ushigata and Mt. Komagatake, and the trailhead is Natsuyu Onsen. 6.1km one way (approximately 240 minutes up, 180 minutes down) The climbing season is from early May, when the road to Natsuyu Onsen opens, until early November, when it closes, but there is a lot of remaining snow in May. From the summit, it is also possible to go to Mt. Yaishishidake.

Hachiro Sato Memorial Museum “Scolded Bozu”

*Closed (reopening date undecided) Hachiro Sato is known for writing the lyrics for nursery rhymes such as ``Happy Hinamatsuri'' and ``Cute Hide and Seek,'' as well as the popular song ``Ringo no Uta.'' According to him, he wrote about 20,000 works during his lifetime. Through his writings, records, and belongings, we explore the warm personality and free-spirited way of life that overflows in the world of his works.

Kitakami City Museum (Waga Branch)

Opened in September 2016. In the history corner, you can learn about the entire history from the Paleolithic period to modern times, and there is also a corner to honor our predecessors who contributed to the development of Kitakami. There is also a wide range of exhibits in the natural field, including stuffed animals, specimens of insects, fossils, and minerals.
