Yahaba Onsen

A simple alkaline spring that began to flow in 1963. Effective for neuralgia, joint pain, chronic digestive diseases, etc. The surrounding area is blessed with magnificent nature, including the Horseshoe Stone, which is said to be the footprint of Minamoto no Yoshiie's favorite horse, Nusakake Falls, and Mt. Namsho.

Nusakake Falls and Kitanosawa Otaki Falls

Nusakake Falls is located at the eastern entrance of Mt. Nanchang, and it is said that in the past, when mountaineers entered the mountain, they offered money to the mountain god to pray for safety. The waterfall is 7m high and 4.5m wide, and appears to have two tiers. There is a promenade along the river to the basin of the waterfall. Upstream is Kitanosawa Falls, which is 13m high and 3m wide.

Nanchang Mountain

At an altitude of 848m, it has been worshiped as a mountain where the dragon god lives in the mountains since ancient times, and you can still see the lion head dedicated to praying for rain on the mountaintop. In addition, the area is home to many types of flora and fauna, and is a place of relaxation where you can come into contact with nature such as the forest, and enjoy sightseeing centered around Nusakake Falls, as well as sports facilities such as mallet golf. It has been well maintained and is a popular hiking and picnic spot for families. Winter closed December to April
