Yukiakari is a popular winter event in one of Japan's heaviest snowfall areas. Around the beginning of February, snow-lit snow sculptures are lined up all over town, evoking the atmosphere of a snowy country. The snow sculpture window, which has been carefully designed, is illuminated with the magical light of flickering candles, illuminating the snowy path. The snow lights surrounding the deep snowy hot spring village are impressive.
