The town's biggest summer event. The ``Shizukuishi Anekko'', who are said to be descended from the lineage of Kyoto beauties, perform a hand-dance parade wearing dark blue kimonos with white scratch patterns and knitted hats. Sansa dance, mikoshi transportation, and dance performances by the YOSAKOI group will also liven up the festival.
