The Iwate Morioka City Marathon is a marathon event that runs through the center of Morioka City, the capital of Iwate Prefecture, and started in 2019. You can run while enjoying the autumn scenery of the castle town of Morioka, including the majestic Mt. Iwate and the river where salmon run upstream.
