Kitakami River Clear Stream Taiko

Kitakami River Seiryu Taiko was formed in the fall of 1978 by six young men engaged in commerce and industry in Iwate Town, with the aim of creating a new performing arts in Iwate Town and contributing to the development of a brighter town. Ta. The image incorporated into all of the songs is ``the flow of the Kitakami River,'' and they created their own original taiko drums while referring to the festival music of their hometown. His unique creative method is attracting attention as the original "Hayashi", which incorporates modern sensibilities into ancient drums. Date: Iwate Town Autumn Festival

Tandogawa mountain stream

Surrounded by dense forest, there are 8km of walking trails. As you walk along the promenade, you can hear the trees swaying in the wind, the clear flow of the Tanto River, and the chirping of various birds, making you feel as if you are one with nature. The Tanto River is a treasure trove of sweetfish, yamame trout, char, and more. You can see wisteria and azaleas in spring, and beautiful autumn leaves in autumn. Arashiyama in the back

This course is a nature trail with a total length of 8.9 km from Kawahara Shinden in Iwate Town to Numamiyachi Inari Shrine. The area around Mt. Kobo, which is climbed from the starting point of Kawahara Shinden, has beautiful autumn leaves and is called the ``Arashiyama of the Oku'' because the scenery resembles Arashiyama in Kyoto. As you cross the Tohoku Main Line and proceed east, you will find yourself walking through a coniferous forest. Near the end of the trail, there are historical sites such as the Numamiyachi Magistrate's Office Ruins and the Numamiyachi Castle Ruins, and the walking course takes approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes.
