Roadside station “Miyamori”

It is located in the center of Miyamori Town, halfway along National Route 283, which connects the inland and coastal areas of Iwate Prefecture. The ``Fureai Information Plaza'' inside the roadside station sells agricultural products and wasabi processed products produced in the town, and provides information on sightseeing spots and events in the town. The rest corner and restrooms are available 24 hours a day. Adjacent to a shopping center, nearby is the Meganebashi Bridge, which is reminiscent of Kenji Miyazawa's ``Night on the Galaxy Railway'' and has become a symbol of the town.

Tsukizawa bracken garden

Tsukizawa Bracken Garden is where you can experience bracken harvesting from mid-May to late June. Admission may be restricted depending on the growth conditions of the bracken, so please check before heading out. Please try the thick and sticky Nishi-bracken.

Takashige Ryokan [Yukawa Onsen]

Bandaikan

It was founded in 1909 as a puppet theater in a converted storehouse, and began screening movies in the Taisho era. The movie boom was at its peak in the 1950s, and the current building was constructed in 1956. It is the only active movie theater in Iwate Prefecture that still retains the vestiges of the good old days of the movie boom. It became a registered tangible cultural property of the country in 2016. The Cassiopeia Film Festival is held every year with special guests.

Iwaidori

High-quality chicken, Iwaidori, is grown in a poultry house environment with thorough hygiene control, and delivered to you after passing through a shipping system that carefully controls freshness. "Iwaidori" grows freely with the rich natural air and water and uniquely formulated feed, and has a soft texture and taste.
