Cape Nesaki Ladder Tiger Dance
It is a tiger dance that is performed on a ladder approximately 20 meters in length at an angle of approximately 50 degrees. The acrobatic dance has a strong appreciation element, and its official name is ``Furyu Karashishikyokujo no Tai.'' In the ancient times, when a certain god was going to Izumo country with his attendants, his way was blocked by a Karajishi on a cliff in a valley, and a member of the group called Saibo took the opportunity to move the Karashishi to the cliff. There is a legend that they were able to arrive safely in Izumo thanks to his invitation to the top, and it is said to be a recreation of the situation between Karashishi and Saibo.
