Squid sake bottle

A ``squid bottle'' is made by shaping the body of a true squid into a sake bottle and drying it in the sun. When you pour in the sake, the flavor of the squid blends into the sake and it's exquisite! It is also popular as a souvenir item.

Ryusendo Cave Wakka

Nanbu Tekki (Oshu City)

Ironware in Mizusawa, Oshu City is said to have its origins in the late Heian period, when foundry craftsmen were invited from Ezu (Shiga Prefecture) to make agricultural tools and daily necessities such as hoes and spades. Since the Meiji era, Nanbu ironware has received high praise overseas, and in 1975, Nanbu ironware was designated as the first traditional craft in Japan.

Kiku no Tsukasa Sake Brewery Co., Ltd.

It is characterized by its fresh and clear sake, which is made using underground water from Mt. Iwate in a temperature-controlled environment. Kiku no Tsukasa Sake Brewery's tradition is to use only carefully selected high-quality sake rice, rice malt, and clear water, without using any other auxiliary ingredients. ``Iwayado Yokan'' is a traditional flavor that has been preserved since its founding in 1908. Since our founding, we have not changed the amount of ingredients or the manufacturing method at all, and we do not use any extracts or sweeteners.We only use the flavor of the ingredients.

Agri Park Osawa

Agri Park Osawa is an exchange facility with bathing accommodations, restaurants, and a product corner. The bathing facilities at Helston Hot Springs include a purely Japanese-style Hiba no Yu, a Western-style granite bath, and an open-air bath. Nanbu Senbei Iwataya

A traditional rice cracker made from wheat, sesame, and peanuts. Also popular are rice crackers with unusual toppings such as squid, apples, and onions, cookie-type rice crackers, and ``Senbei soup sets'' that can be easily made at home.

Town station “Masazane-kan”

Masazanekan is a town station that opened in July 2011. On the first floor, there is a product sales corner, where locally produced sweet tea, grape juice, cereals, Nanbu kake, Nanbu rice crackers, etc. are displayed. There is also a free rest area and a kids corner where children can play, making it a convenient place to rest.

A direct sales store run mainly by the JA Women's Department. In addition to freshly harvested agricultural products, the store also sells wood crafts and craft items. Togatta Kokeshi doll

With the Sato brothers of Shiroishi City, he learned how to turn wood, came to Hanamaki in 1950 and created camellia kokeshi dolls, and since 1960 he has also been making Shunshun-style kokeshi dolls.
