The hayashi of floats used in festivals. Around 1661, Naoe, the 22nd generation head of Tono Nanbu, commissioned a performer to create a town dance that incorporated the characteristics of Tonogo, with reference to Kyoto's Gion Bayashi.

Tono hometown village

This is a place where the city's ``Nanbu Magariya'' was relocated and preserved, recreating the nostalgic farming village of Tono. You can experience various rural areas such as ``mochi pounding'', ``soba making'', and ``rope making'' in a peaceful landscape. In addition, there is a ``Maburitto'' in the hometown village who protects the culture and traditions of Tono, and they also act as instructors for rural experiences and provide gentle support.

Roadside station “Miyamori”

It is located in the center of Miyamori Town, halfway along National Route 283, which connects the inland and coastal areas of Iwate Prefecture. The ``Fureai Information Plaza'' inside the roadside station sells agricultural products and wasabi processed products produced in the town, and provides information on sightseeing spots and events in the town. The rest corner and restrooms are available 24 hours a day. Adjacent to a shopping center, nearby is the Meganebashi Bridge, which is reminiscent of Kenji Miyazawa's ``Night on the Galaxy Railway'' and has become a symbol of the town.
