In Nishiwaga Town, from late April to mid-May, when the snow disappears, trees begin to bud and a variety of flowers begin to bloom all at once. Among them, the clusters of ``Katakuri flowers and skunk cabbage'' are spectacular and eye-catching. Katakuri flowers, yellowtail flowers near Yagasawa and the Galaxy Plateau, and skunk cabbage flowers at Hiruyama, Yagasawa, Kaizawa, and Togeyama.
