This is the only craftsman's shop in Morioka that has been consistently making shoes since before the war and can do both upper making and sole making. Mayu Craft creates seasonal items by beautifully dyeing cocoon balls. There is a panel display of materials related to sericulture in Iwate. In addition to displaying materials about Iwate's sericulture on panels, you can also see prize-winning works from national cocoon craft contests, bouquets, wreaths, hina dolls, and other works that take advantage of cocoon's characteristics.
