Kamaishi Products Center “Sea Plaza Kamaishi”

Located next to Kamaishi Station, it serves as a base for disseminating information about Sanriku through the exchange and interaction of people and things, and is equipped with sales of local products and souvenirs, an event plaza, and a tourist information center.

Roadside station “Kamaishi Sennintoge”

Located at the end of Sennintoge Road, near Kamaishi Nishi IC, at the intersection with National Route 283. As the nickname "Ayu Dancing Clear Stream and Koshigaki no Sato" suggests, the Koshi River flows in the background, and you can enjoy the famous soft-serve ice cream and Kamaishi ramen while listening to the murmuring of the river. In autumn, Koshi persimmons, a specialty of Koshi Town, are lined up on display, and the area is crowded with customers looking for the autumn taste of Kamaishi.

Iwate Prefectural Fisheries Technology Center

It is one of the largest testing and research institutes in the East, and conducts various testing and research related to the fisheries industry, including the development of cultivation techniques and the promotion of fishing boat fishing. There is also a public tour course, and the entrance hall is lined with large aquariums where you can see the fish that live in the Sanriku sea swimming.
