    "Kaya" is an evergreen tree of the Taxus family. The base diameter is 1.9m, the height is 23m, and the branch length is 21m. It is the largest tree in the prefecture and is approximately 700 years old. Prefecturally designated cultural property.

    Yamabuki Rice Terraces

    Yamabuki Rice Terraces, located at the foot of a mountain in the Ohara Yamabuki district of Daito-cho, Ichinoseki City, at an altitude of about 400 meters, has been selected as one of Japan's top 100 rice terraces. In spring, the yellow flowers of Yamabuki are in full bloom everywhere.

    Iwai River Park

    A park on the riverbed of the Iwai River that flows through the center of the city. It is also the venue for many events such as the Iwai River Spring Festival, fireworks displays, and sweet potato parties, and it is always crowded with people throughout the season for everything from cherry blossom viewing to swan feeding.
