Kirara Muroneyama Observatory

Kirara Muroneyama Observatory is an astronomical observatory located on the south side of the summit of Mt. Murone. Equipped with a 50cm diameter reflecting telescope called ``Canopus'' and a 15cm diameter refracting telescope, you can see the sun during the day and many stars and nebulae at night. In addition, planetary models and astronomical photographs are displayed in the training room, which attracts many astronomical enthusiasts and their families.

Tateyama Park

Tateyama Park overlooking Senmaya Town offers a panoramic view of the town along with the cherry blossoms. About 100 cherry trees, including someiyoshino, shidare-zakura, yae-zakura, and several other varieties, begin to bloom in sequence, so you can enjoy the cherry blossom viewing season for a long time. Geibikei Gorge

One of Japan's top 100 views. It is an approximately 2 km long gorge created by the Satetsu River eroding limestone, with approximately 100 m cliffs rising on both banks. The current is calm, and you can hear the boatman's song ``Geibi Oiwake'' as you go down the boat.
