Michinoku Coca-Cola Bottling Link (Morioka City Ice Rink)

The only public skating rink in the Tohoku region that opened in September 2015. Equipped with one international standard skating rink and two car rink seats, not only those involved in the sport but also the general public can easily enjoy ice skating throughout the year.

Roadside station “Iwaizumi”

The roadside station "Iwaizumi" is located along National Route 455, a 15-minute drive from Rikuchu Coast, and a 10-minute drive from Ryusendo Cave, making it a great location for Sanriku sightseeing spots. There is also a wide variety of local souvenirs on display, including Matsutake mushrooms from Iwaizumi in the fall.

Hotel Hanamaki [Hanamaki Onsen]

This hot spring resort is popular for its open-air cypress open-air bath. "Sakura Dining" reopened in February 2018 and offers a buffet where you can thoroughly enjoy local flavors. The cypress open-air bath boasts a great view, allowing you to feel the changes of rich nature and soothe your daily fatigue. You can also freely use the public baths and open-air baths of the adjacent Hotel Senshukaku and Hotel Momijikan, and one of the pleasures is to visit the hot springs.

Kitakami City Rest Forest

A woodworking experience center and athletic play equipment are located within the facility, and nearby are Tenshochi Park, a museum, and Michinoku Folk Village. There are 10 tent sites, 4 cottages for 10 to 15 people, and 3 cottages for 5 or 6 people.

Iwate Prefectural Hiraizumi World Heritage Guidance Center

On November 20, 2021, a facility opened that will serve as a base for disseminating information about the value of Hiraizumi's cultural heritage both domestically and internationally. There is a corner introducing the Yanaginogosho Ruins, which is said to be the site of the Oshu Fujiwara clan's government office.
