Yumesaki Chaya (Roadside Station Tono Kaze no Okauchi)

This is a farm-style restaurant located inside the roadside station Tono Kaze no Oka Food Hall. We strive for local production and local consumption, and serve rice balls made from 100% locally grown rice. In addition, the five-grain rice balls are a blend of rice that is sold directly from the farm on the premises. You can also enjoy nostalgic flavors such as ``Kirisensho'' and ``Kanenari'' which is baked with non-glutinous rice flour.

Yumoto Onsen

The oldest hot spring town in Yuda Onsenkyo, known as the place where Masaoka Shiki stayed. It is a bitter sodium sulfate spring that gushes out on the left bank of the Waga River, 4km north of Hottoyuda Station. The word ``Yuda'' comes from the expression ``a place where hot water gushes out from inside the rice fields,'' which was used in the Kanbun era (around 1661-1673), and this refers to the current Yumoto Onsen.

"Senbonmatsu" was named after the town's designated natural monument. Buttery aroma, rich taste, and simple shape. The bark of an old pine tree that looks hundreds of years old is shaped and baked to give it a natural finish. Received the 37th Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry Effort Award.

Chusonji Temple in Hiraizumi was registered as a World Heritage Site in 2011. The three large cedar trees with connected roots next to the main hall of Chuson-ji Temple were named ``Famous Confectionary Sandai Cedar'' after the three generations of Oshu and Fujiwara. A Western confectionery with a new texture, consisting of Baumkuchen with chocolate filling in the middle and sandwiched between cookies.
