Kenji Miyazawa Poetry Monument (Kurosaki Observation Deck)

Two monuments of Kenji Miyazawa's poetry have been erected in Fudai Village. At Kurosaki Observation Deck, there is a monument with a poem written by ``Motor Ship Ichi.'' Based on the theory that the setting of this work is Nedari Beach, it was built in 2015 in a location overlooking Nedari Beach.

Taiyaki

Taiyaki is a type of pottery that was created in the middle of the Meiji era on a stand in Hanamaki Onsen.The pottery was obtained from Mt. Manju, a hot spring area, and was perfected by painstaking efforts to create a product with elegance that would withstand the cold climate of the country. . Currently, the designs have shifted from white porcelain to folk art designs, but the works are diverse and highly acclaimed as local masterpieces.

Kenji Miyazawa Poetry Monument (Matsuiso Park)

Two monuments of Kenji Miyazawa's poetry have been erected in Fudai Village. One of these is the monument to ``The Lost Boy's Song'' in Matsuiso Park, and it is said that Horiuchi Port was the port where Kenji boarded his engine boat when he traveled to Sanriku in 1925. It was built in 2004. The epitaph was chosen as a literary poem, ``Song of a Defeated Boy,'' which is an adaptation of ``Sanshiro: Jealousy of the Apocalypse,'' which Kenji wrote at dawn on the day he boarded the ship.

Hatsukoma main store

This is a restaurant where you can enjoy Morioka's specialty "Wanko Soba" and other local dishes such as soba gozen. There is also a large hall, making it convenient for groups. In addition to the main store, there is also a Morioka Inter store .

Glass experience workshop Mori no Kuni

A Western-style building surrounded by a forest of broadleaf trees and conifers. Inside the store, you can experience making things such as blown glass and tonbo beads (glass beads made from melted colored glass rods), as well as selling glass products made in the workshop on the spot.

Sansaikan Fujisei

The southern region of Iwate Prefecture is proud of its variety of mochi dishes. Since opening in 1991, they have been offering the famous "Hitokuchi Mochi Zen", which is a bite-sized version of traditional mochi dishes. The taste of freshly made food is impressive. Located right next to Ichinoseki Station, this is a restaurant where you can enjoy mochi and Japanese cuisine with both your eyes and your taste buds.
