    The top floor (20th floor) of Malios, which opened in November 1997 in the west exit area of JR Morioka Station, has an observation deck that offers a 360-degree panoramic view of Morioka in all four seasons. All Malios buildings are closed on New Year's Day, but only the observation deck on the 20th floor will be open from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. Please enjoy the first sunrise of the year. Inside the workshop, you can see the manufacturing process and semi-finished products of violins, violas, baroque cellos, and decorative instruments. There are only a few violin makers in Tohoku and Hokkaido. We design and manufacture each piece with great care, from selecting materials to measurements that suit the performer.

    Yasugoro Yorikawa, a businessman from Morioka, built it as a residence around 1888, and the garden took several years to complete. It has a strolling garden with a pond, and has been visited by many famous people, including Takashi Hara. A protected garden and important landscape building in Morioka City. The garden is registered as a national monument.
